
About me

I graduated as a Physician and General Surgeon in 2014 from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala (USAC).

In 2016, I completed a Specialization in Scientific Research through the Faculty of Engineering at USAC.
-
I then completed four years of Internal Medicine residency at the Military Hospital, accredited by Mariano Gálvez University of Guatemala.

In 2021, I had the opportunity to pursue a subspecialty in Clinical Rheumatology at the Fray Antonio Alcalde Civil Hospital in Mexico, through the University of Guadalajara.

Before returning to Guatemala, I obtained certification as an Adult Rheumatologist through the Mexican Council of Rheumatology (A.C.) examination, a comprehensive theoretical and practical evaluation designed to assess the knowledge and clinical skills of both national and international rheumatologists nearing completion of their training.

I am currently practicing in Guatemala, grateful for the opportunity to care for hundreds of patients living with autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.

With over 10 years of experience in medicine, I am committed to continuous learning, ongoing medical education, and clinical research.
